At B9F7 Parvis Trust, our investment thesis is built on the core belief that digital transformation and human capital development are two indivisible pillars of modern economic growth. We see this nexus in action nowhere more clearly than in West Africa, a region experiencing one of the world’s most dynamic adoptions of digital infrastructure, mobile finance, and cloud services. Côte d’Ivoire, in particular, stands as a critical hub in this transformation.
However, this rapid, hardware-first expansion creates an immediate and critical gap: the shortage of a locally trained, specialized workforce. The new digital economy cannot be sustained without the network engineers, data analysts, and cybersecurity professionals required to build, manage, and secure it. This “human infrastructure” gap is the single greatest barrier to realizing the region’s full economic potential.
It is in direct response to this challenge that we are proud to announce a targeted strategic grant of 24.5 million West African CFA francs (XOF) to Lycée et École Supérieure Bèzone. This institution’s unique, integrated structure, which bridges rigorous secondary education (Lycée) with specialized higher education (École Supérieure), makes it the ideal partner for building a sustainable, long-term talent pipeline from the ground up.
This grant is not a general endowment. It is a precise, earmarked investment to fund the creation of the “Bèzone Digital Futures Initiative.” The capital will be deployed to acquire state-of-the-art networking hardware, virtualization servers, and the security software necessary to establish a new, dedicated laboratory for digital skills.
This new infrastructure will support the launch of two new specialized certification tracks, developed in consultation with industry experts. The first track will focus on Network Infrastructure and Data Management, training students to design, build, and maintain the robust networks that underpin a digital society. The second track will focus on Applied Cybersecurity, equipping students with the defensive skills to protect critical data and infrastructure from modern threats.
By funding this initiative, we are providing students at both the Lycée and Supérieure levels with access to high-impact, hands-on, practical training on the exact technologies that are powering the region’s growth. Students will move beyond pure theory, learning to configure secure networks, manage data integrity, and defend against real-world cyber threats. This program is designed to create a new cohort of job-ready graduates who can immediately contribute to, and lead within, the Ivorian tech ecosystem.
This commitment reflects our core philosophy: investing in Education is the most fundamental way to de-risk and unlock the value of our investments in Infrastructure, AI, and Data Security. We are honored to partner with Lycée et École Supérieure Bèzone to help cultivate the human capital that will lead West Africa’s digital transformation for decades to come.
